Subject: Please Sign the Pollinator Pledge - Operation Pollination
From: Rotary International District 6450

Dear District 6450 Club Presidents,

Congratulations on your new presidencies!  As you already probably know, Operation Pollination is our big district environmental initiative. If your club has not already done so, can you please sign the attached Pollinator Pledge? In it, you pledge to do whatever your club is capable of doing to help our pollinators! Some of the bigger clubs have gone as far as planting pollinator gardens, while smaller and less land-owning clubs like Chicago Lakeview have listened to Chris Stein speak and then committed to having pollinator-friendly plants on their condominium balconies and other smaller efforts.

Also, if you haven’t had Chris Stein from the National Parks Service speak to your club, he would be happy to do so. He holds our district up as a nation-wide example of Operation Pollination success!  Be part of the pollinator solution by contacting him at Chris_Stein@nps.gov.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

Congratulations again,

Manon
