GRANTS AVAILABLE FOR 2024-25

Using Foundation District Designated Funds

Rotary and Rotaract clubs can apply for ONE of the following Service Project Grants funded by The Rotary Foundation. Collaboration among clubs and with community partners is strongly encouraged. Funds will be available on a first come basis.

Apply for Environmental Service Project Grant Funds

Clubs may apply for grants of $100 – $300 for environmental service projects. The projects must include hands on service by Rotary members and cannot be donations that do not include Rotary involvement. Spending for the projects must occur between July 1, 2024 and May 31, 2025. To apply, please send an email with a brief description of the project, including how Rotary members are involved and the budget, to District Environmental Service Chair Mary Onorad. Once approved by Mary, the applicant will be directed to enter the project information in the District Grants module in DACdb. A total of $3,000 is available. The deadline to submit applications is January 15, 2025.

Apply for Cards for Seniors Service Project Grant Funds

Clubs may apply for grants of $100 – $250 for cards for seniors service projects. Clubs are encouraged to hand write notes of cheer for seniors in local nursing homes who may be suffering from an epidemic of loneliness. Consider collaborating with Interact and EarlyAct clubs. Spending for the projects must occur between July 1, 2024 and May 31, 2025. To apply, please send an email with a brief description of the project, including how Rotary members are involved and the budget, to District Community Service Chair Mary Dougherty. Once approved by Mary, the applicant will be directed to enter the project information in the District Grants module in DACdb. A total of $2,000 is available. The deadline to submit applications is January 15, 2025.

Apply for Disaster Response Service Project Grant Funds

We have some limited funds available to assist our communities with disaster relief. If a disaster is impacting your community, please reach out to District Disaster Response Chair Chris Olson for possible grant funds and other assistance.
