We strongly encourage all Rotarians to consider registering!  The next increase in the registration fee will be in December.

Hotels/Housing

  • Fairmont, Hotel Le Germain, Marriott Downtown, Hyatt Regency were identified as hotels close to each other and near Convention site
  • New reservations not available, except for Marriott Downtown
  • Several openings available at the Fairmont through the Room Block
  • Initially the Room Block was not viable due to expected timing
  • D6440/D6450 was able to get a Room Block early in the registration process
  • Airbnb and VRBO are housing options

Host Organizing Activities & District Reception

  • District Reception – Saturday or Sunday (June 21 or 22)
  • Saturday – Grandstand Spectacular (Music, Wild West and more)
  • Sunday – Rocking the Big Tent (Country Music)
  • Sunday – Calgary Symphony
  • Monday – Host Hospitality Evening (Dinner at Rotarians’ Homes or Restaurants)
  • Tuesday – Western Ranch Showcase

Travel/Transportation Considerations

  • For US citizens travelling to Canada, a passport is needed with an expiration date of at least six months after the travel dates
  • Calgarytransit.com is a good source of information about Calgary’s transportation system
  • Uber, Lyft are available
  • Rotary will provide access to Calgary’s public transportation system.
